Sunil Motors

Sunil Motors is situated at Lower Tank Bund, right across from Indra Park. It’s a pretty busy area of Domalguda, especially with the Ramakrishna Matt nearby. You get a lot of people walking over to the park or heading to the Matt for some peace. Here at the shop, it’s a bit different. There’s usually the smell of oil and the sound of someone working on an engine. It’s not the quietest spot, but we like it. The location is good because people can find us easily when they’re driving through the city. We’ve spent many years in this building. It has its quirks, like the way the door sticks in the rainy season or how hot it gets in the mid-afternoon. We don’t really bother with fancy decorations or waiting rooms with TVs. People usually just drop their vehicles off and go about their business. We’re just regular folks who know our way around a motor. We’ve seen all sorts of cars come through here, from old models that should have been retired years ago to newer ones. Every day is a bit different depending on what walks in. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get things back on the road. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Domalguda is our home, and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We are just here doing our thing and keeping the grease on our hands.
