Tirumala Publications

We are located at No. 3- 3- 864/ 7, which is right opposite the Arya Samaj in Sultan Bazar. If you know the area, you know it’s a very busy part of the city with a lot of shops and people moving around at all hours. Tirumala Publications is a place where books and papers are the main thing you’ll see. We have floor-to-ceiling shelves that are mostly packed with different volumes we have worked on over the years. It’s a bit dusty, as old books tend to be, but it has a specific smell that we’ve grown to like. The office is small and the desk is usually covered in manuscripts and proofs that need checking. We don't have a fancy sign, just the address on the door, and people often use the Arya Samaj as a landmark to find us. It gets quite loud outside with the bazaar traffic, but once you step inside, it’s a little bit quieter, though never completely silent. We spend our days reading through things and making sure the printing is going correctly. We aren't a big publishing house with dozens of employees; it’s just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. The Sultan Bazar location is great because we are right in the middle of everything. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and we are happy to be here.
