Stockyard Incharge

M. Chandra Sekhar is the one running things here at the stockyard office. We are located in the NGO’S Colony in Vanasthalipuram, which is a bit of a distance from the main Hyderabad city center. Our address is B-615. It’s more of a residential-turned-commercial area, so it’s quite lived-in and friendly. The office is basically where we manage the inventory and the movement of goods for the yard. It's not a place for meetings with fancy investors. It’s a place for drivers to drop off paperwork and for us to check the logs. We have a couple of old desks and a computer that’s seen better days. The colony is quiet during the morning but picks up in the evening. We don’t really have a big sign outside. Most people who need us already know where we are. We handle the daily ins and outs of the stock without making a big deal of it. Sometimes there’s a mistake in the count and we have to stay late to fix it. That's just how it goes. It’s honest work. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the logistics of the next delivery. It’s a decent life and the people around here are good neighbors. We don't have any corporate slogans or big goals. We just try to make sure the trucks are loaded right and the numbers match at the end of every week.
