You can find us at Shop No 52 in Malakpet. We do aluminium fabrication work here. It is a noisy job, with all the cutting and the drills going, but we are used to it. The shop is usually covered in bits of metal and dust from the work we do. It is not a place where you would want to wear your best clothes. We spend most of our time measuring pieces of aluminium and putting them together for windows or doors. People come to us with their sizes, and we see what we can do for them. Malakpet is a crowded area, so we are always dealing with a lot of movement around the shop. It is just a small team of us. We have been doing this for a while and we know how to handle the tools. We do not have a big reception area or a coffee machine for guests. You just walk in, tell us what you need, and we figure out a price. Sometimes the orders take longer if we have a lot of work lined up, but we try to be honest about that. It is practical work. We do not make it sound more complicated than it is. We take the metal, we cut it, and we make something useful out of it. It is a living, and we enjoy the hands-on nature of the work. We just stay focused on the task until the job is done.
