Srishti Sustainability Studio

We are located at House Number 224 on Road 17 in Jubilee Hills. If you find the Andhra Bank lane or the SBI ATM, you are pretty much at our doorstep. It is a relatively quiet part of the neighborhood, which makes it a nice place for a studio. We call ourselves Srishti Sustainability Studio because we actually care about how buildings affect the environment. We do not just use the standard materials if we can find something that is more natural or better for the long term. Our workspace is usually filled with samples like mud bricks, reclaimed wood, and different types of natural insulation. It is definitely not your typical high-tech architectural office. We have a lot of plants around and the windows are usually kept open for fresh air. We spend a lot of our time researching older ways of building and trying to make them work for modern homes. It involves a lot of trial and error. Some people think that sustainable building has to look strange, but we just try to make things look normal while working better. We talk to a lot of specialized craftsmen who know how to handle these specific materials. It is a slower process than just putting up a standard concrete box, but we think it is worth the extra effort. We are not a huge firm, just a few of us who really like this kind of work and want to do it right.
