Sri Siddi Vinayaka Wood Industries

Over here at Sri Siddi Vinayaka Wood Industries, there is always the smell of fresh cut wood in the air. We are located in Shaktipuram Prashanti Colony, which is part of the Mythri Nagar area in Kukatpally. Our unit is at 5-35/304/B2. It’s a busy place with machines running most of the day. It’s loud and dusty, but that’s the nature of the wood business. We aren't the type to sit in an air-conditioned office. We’re usually out on the floor, checking the timber or overseeing the cutting. The sun hits the workshop pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite hot, but we’re used to it. We get all kinds of orders, some big and some small. We just handle them one by one. There are piles of planks and sawdust everywhere, and we try to keep it organized, but it’s a constant battle. We’ve been in Kukatpally for a while now and we know the local roads well. Getting the trucks in and out of Mythri Nagar can be a bit of a challenge when the traffic is bad, but we make it work. It’s honest labor and we don't try to sugarcoat it. We aren't designers; we’re makers. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in dust, but we’ll stop what we’re doing to help you out and see what kind of wood you are looking for.
