Running this place out of Shop No 5 on the 1st floor at Plot No 12 in Anand Bagh can be a bit of a workout. Those stairs are no joke when you are carrying supplies up and down all day. Malkajigiri is a crowded area, so parking the trucks is always a bit of a puzzle we have to solve every single morning. Sri Sai Krishna Packers & Movers is basically just us and a few sturdy guys who aren't afraid of a bit of sweat. We deal with a lot of household junk, mostly people moving their entire lives into a new flat. You’d be surprised how much stuff one family can own. We use a lot of those old blankets to wrap up the cupboards so the wood doesn't get chipped. It’s not a glamorous job by any means. My desk is covered in old receipts and half-empty water bottles. We don't really do the whole fancy marketing thing. Most people just find us because they live nearby or saw our truck parked on the street. It gets hot in the afternoon, especially on that first floor, so we drink a lot of tea and just keep moving the boxes. Every day is different, I suppose. One day it’s a tiny apartment, the next it’s a whole house full of heavy furniture. We just do the work and go home.
