Sri Micro Systems is tucked away at 1-10-146 in Ashok Nagar. If you know where the RTC cross roads are, you basically know where we are. It’s a busy intersection and the noise from the buses and rickshaws is pretty constant through our front windows. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just rows of monitors and parts boxes stacked up against the back wall. We have a couple of desks that have seen better days, with scratches and marks from years of moving hardware around. The flooring is that old grey tile that never quite looks clean no matter how much we mop it in the mornings. There’s a small space in the back where we keep the spare cables and old boxes that might come in handy one day. Most of the guys here wear plain shirts and spend most of their time looking at screens or opening up computer cases. It gets a bit warm in the summer since the AC isn't always the strongest, but we make do with a couple of extra fans. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers on the small table near the door for anyone waiting. We don't spend much on decorations because we’re more focused on the work in front of us. It’s a straightforward setup where we mostly just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks that come through the door.
