Our workshop and office is at Plot No. 318 in the Srinvasapuram Colony of Vanasthalipuram. Sri Laxmi Narasimha Interior Decorations is not a fancy showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. Instead, we have a lot of wood samples, catalogs, and tools scattered around. Most of the time, we are out at someone’s house measuring walls or checking how a wardrobe fits into a corner. We deal with a lot of sawdust and the smell of wood polish. Vanasthalipuram is a nice residential area, so we are often working just a few streets away from where we are based. We might be small, but we stay busy with different projects like putting up curtains or fixing kitchen cabinets. It is a hands-on kind of job where we are always using tape measures and pencils. Sometimes a delivery of plywood arrives and we have to clear out the whole space just to fit it in. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just show up at the site, do the work, and then head back to the colony. Some days are spent just talking to suppliers about the price of hardware or hinges. It’s a simple life of making sure things look decent and function well in people's homes. We like the quiet of Srinvasapuram compared to the main roads. It is a good place to be.
