Sri Laxmi Narashimha Digital Studio

Our studio is tucked away in Ganeshnagar, right in the Katedhan area. It is a small place, but it serves the local neighborhood well enough. We have a simple setup with a few cameras, some backdrop cloths, and the lights we need for portraits. People mostly come in when they need a quick photo for their government ID or for school applications. We also do bigger prints when a family has a function and wants a memory of it. The computer we use for editing is a bit older, so sometimes we have to wait for it to catch up, but it gets the job done eventually. The printer is usually humming in the corner, and we spend a lot of time checking that the ink looks right on the paper. It can get a bit crowded in here when a whole family shows up at once, but we just make space by moving the stools around. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our customers are just people walking by or neighbors who have known us for years. Sometimes the power cuts out in Katedhan, which means everything stops for a while, but we just sit outside until it comes back on. It’s a quiet life running a shop like this, and we like the routine of meeting the locals and taking their pictures every day.
