Naspur House in Himayat Nagar is where we set up shop. Sri Jayalaxmi Automotives Pvt Ltd is what the sign says outside, but to us, it’s just the place we come to every morning. Himayat Nagar is always crowded, so finding a spot can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we manage. The building has been around for a bit, and it has that specific feel to it. Inside, it’s mostly desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and the usual sound of phones ringing. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week. Sometimes it’s just sorting through stacks of papers for hours. Other times, someone walks in with a specific problem with their vehicle and we try to get it sorted. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s a regular office with regular people. We drink a lot of tea from the shop nearby. The staff knows each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. It gets a bit loud when the traffic outside peaks, but you get used to that after a week or two. We just try to get the work done without making a big fuss about it. If you walk into Naspur House, you’ll find us there, probably arguing about which cricket match was better or looking at a registration form. It’s simple, it’s local, and it’s how we’ve always done things. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
