Sri Gurga Garments

Sri Gurga Garments is located in Bhavana Rusgi Nagar, which is part of the Mylardevaplly area in Rajendra Nagar. Our place is at H. No: 8-13-8/42. If you walk down the street in Hyderabad, you can hear the machines running. It’s a busy neighborhood and we fit right in. We spend most of our time at the sewing tables or cutting fabric. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and scraps of cloth. It isn't a massive factory, just a local spot where we make clothes. My cousins and a few neighbors work here with me. We have piles of finished garments waiting to be packed up. The light in the workspace isn't the best in the evening, so we try to get the detailed work done while the sun is up. People come by to check on their orders or just to say hello. It gets quite warm inside with all the machines and people moving around. We don't do fancy advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. We try to keep things simple and honest. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit before we can start working again. That’s just part of living in this part of town. We’ve been at this address for a good while now and we know everyone on the block. We drink tea twice a day and keep the machines oiled so they don't break.
