We spend most of our time around Poolbagh and Basheer Bagh in Hyderabad. It is mostly about moving heavy speakers and getting all the wiring right before a party starts. Sometimes the weather is hot, but the work has to happen anyway. We have been in this part of Basheer Bagh for a while now. Most people see us loading the van or testing the bass late in the afternoon. It gets pretty loud when we are checking the equipment. There are a lot of cables to keep track of, and sometimes they get tangled, which takes forever to fix. We just keep everything at our place near the main road. People stop by to ask if we are free for their dates. Usually, it is weddings or small local gatherings where people want some music. We don't have a big fancy office, just the space for the gear and enough room to test the speakers. It is a lot of lifting and shifting. We know the streets around here well since we are always driving the equipment back and forth. If someone needs sound for a function, they usually find us through word of mouth around the neighborhood. It is hard work, especially the late nights after the event is over and we have to pack everything back into the trucks. We just focus on getting the sound clear and making sure nothing breaks during the middle of a song. We hope everything goes well at every gig we do.
