Sri Chandra Industries

Sri Chandra Industries is over in Prashanti Nagar. Our address is 5-36/5/A in the Industrial Estate area of Kukatpally. It’s a hot part of town, especially in the afternoons. The industrial estate has a very specific feel to it. There’s a lot of metal hitting metal and the sound of heavy vehicles. Our building is a simple structure. We have high ceilings to try and keep the heat from being too much. Inside, it’s mostly open space with machines and raw materials spread out. We don’t have a lot of office partitions. We prefer being able to see what’s happening across the floor. The walls are painted a plain color that has faded a bit over time. We have a small area for paperwork, but the real work happens on the floor. Kukatpally is a busy hub, and being in Prashanti Nagar means we are right in the middle of the local industry. We’ve got good neighbors who have been here as long as we have. We start our day when the sun comes up to get a head start before it gets too warm. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we are always sweeping. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We don't make a fuss about things. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Every day feels like a good day’s work when you see what has been finished.
