Our little shop is over in Kukatpally, specifically Shop No 2-1/A. It’s been here for a bit now. We do two things mainly: check eyes and sell glasses. The space isn't huge, so the racks of frames are pretty close together. You’ll find different styles, mostly the sturdy kinds that people around here like for daily use. Hyderabad traffic outside is always a mess, so once people get inside, they usually want to sit for a minute before getting their vision tested. The eye clinic part is in the back. We have the usual machines for testing sight. It's just a few of us working here, trying to make sure the prescriptions are right. Sometimes a shipment of lenses takes a day longer than we said, and we have to call the customer to apologize. It’s a normal part of running a shop. We aren't some big chain with bright lights and uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to the neighbors who stop by. Some people just come in because their nose pads broke or they need a quick adjustment on their frames. We handle those little things too. It's a steady flow of people from the Kukatpally area. We've got the standard mirrors on the walls so you can see how the glasses look. Nothing fancy, just a local eye place where you can get your sight sorted out without too much fuss or extra cost.
