Our shop is located in Phase II of Cherlapally, over at Plot No.161A. If you know the area, you know it is full of different factories and workshops. Forging is heavy work. It involves a lot of heat and big hammers. The air gets hot, especially during the summer months here in Hyderabad. We spend our days dealing with raw steel and turning it into something useful. It is a messy process, but someone has to do it. We have a regular crew of guys who handle the furnaces and the presses. It is hard physical labor. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. People find us because they need forgings and we are right here in the industrial estate. Most of the time, we are just busy keeping the schedule on track. The machines need a lot of looking after because the work is hard on them. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them on the fly. That is just life in a forge. We have been at this spot for some time now. We are not trying to be the biggest, just trying to do what we do without too much fuss. When the day ends, everyone is tired and covered in soot. But the parts are ready to go. We pack them up and get them ready for the trucks. It is a simple way to earn a living. We just keep the fires going and get the work done.
