Sreshta Curry Point

Sreshta Curry Point is located at Hno 5-3-42, Mig 42 in the Aphb Colony of Meerpet, Moula Ali. It is a small place that we run out of a converted house. The kitchen is the heart of the whole thing. From early in the morning, the smell of roasted spices and fried onions starts to fill the air. We don't have a big sign with lights. Most people find us because of the smell or because their neighbors told them about us. The counters are simple and we use plastic containers for everything. It gets really busy around 7 PM when people are heading home from work and don't want to cook. We stand behind the counter and serve out the day's curries as fast as we can. The floor is often a bit damp from cleaning, and the walls have some steam marks. We don't have a menu that stays the same every day. We just make what is fresh and available. The Aphb Colony is a quiet neighborhood, but our little corner stays lively. We know most of the people who come in by their first names or at least by their usual orders. It isn't a fancy dining experience. It is just good food for people to take home. We are just a local family doing what we know best. There’s no corporate talk here, just the sound of ladles hitting the pots.
