Sree Jyothsna Tailoring Sarees

Sree Jyothsna Tailoring Sarees is a small shop located at H No: 10-1-740 in Veer Nagar. We spend most of our time sitting at the machines or measuring out fabric on the big table. It’s a bit crowded in here because of all the bundles of cloth and the half-finished sarees hanging up, but we know where everything is. People from around Chintal Basti and Khairtabad bring us their material for stitching blouses or getting the borders fixed. Sometimes it gets really busy during the wedding season, and there are pins and threads everywhere. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes a complicated design takes a bit longer than we thought it would. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place to get sewing work done. We’ve been at this address for a good while, so the locals know the way. If you walk past Veer Nagar, you can usually hear the hum of the sewing machines going through the afternoon. We do simple alterations too, not just the big fancy stuff. It’s mostly just us working away, making sure the fits are right and the seams are strong. We don't really do much advertising; people just hear about us from their neighbors or see the shop when they are out walking.
