Our workshop is at 88/C in Ida Jeedimetla. This is a big industrial estate, so there are factories and sheds everywhere. It is a very hot place to work, especially during the summer because of the machines and the metal. The floors are always covered in a bit of grit and oil, and the sound of the machines is pretty loud. We don't have a fancy office; we just have a small corner with a desk and a computer where we keep track of things. Most of our time is spent on the floor where the actual work happens. It is a heavy-duty environment and everyone wears old clothes because you’re going to get dirty. We take our breaks together and usually just sit on some crates or benches near the door to get some fresh air. The area around us is full of trucks and people moving heavy loads. It is not the kind of place you’d visit if you wanted to stay clean. We have been in this shed for a long time and we know how every machine sounds. When something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. It’s a simple, hardworking life in Jeedimetla. We don't have many visitors, just the delivery guys and the occasional customer who knows where to find us. It’s just a place where we work with metal and get things done.
