Our office is right in the middle of the bustle at Somajiguda, specifically on Rajbhavan Road. We are based inside the PCS Securities building on Gulmohar Avenue. The traffic outside is usually a mess, especially during the peak hours when everyone is trying to get across Hyderabad. Association Of National Exchanges Member Of Indiaap Chapter is mostly about handling the administrative side of things for our members. We spend a lot of time on the phones or typing out emails. The air conditioning is almost always running because it gets quite stuffy in the office otherwise. People from different exchanges drop by quite often to talk about rules or to sort out their paperwork. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have rows of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of power cables running along the floor. We know the people working in the other offices in the building, and we often run into them at the tea stall nearby. Lunch is usually something quick we bring from home. Gulmohar Avenue sounds like it would be quiet, but it’s actually very busy. We have been operating from this location for a good while now. Some days are much slower than others, depending on what is happening with the markets. We just try to stay organized and keep the records up to date. It is a lot of coordination and simple office work that keeps us busy from morning till evening.
