Sn Industries

Our place is over in the Type 2 2B Industrial Estate in Kukatpally. It’s a big area filled with warehouses and small factories, and we are right in the thick of it. The main thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of oil and the sound of the machines running. We spend our days mostly on the floor, making sure the production is going as it should without any major hiccups. It can get pretty loud, so we often have to shout to be heard over the noise of the equipment. There is no air conditioning out here, so we keep the big shutters open to let the air circulate, which also lets in a lot of dust from the estate roads. We have trucks coming in and out to drop off raw materials or pick up the crates we’ve finished packing for our clients. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving heavy boxes and checking that the machines are fueled up and working right. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that; if you come to see us, you’ll probably find us with grease on our hands or looking at a clipboard. The days are long and the work is repetitive, but we have a solid routine that keeps things moving along. It’s just an honest day’s work in a part of town that never really stops for long, even when the sun goes down.
