SMG Design

If you find yourself near the Nandi Nagar Busstop on Road No. 14, you’re pretty close to us. SMG Design is at 243, Avenue 3. It’s a decent spot. We spend our days working on different design ideas. Sometimes the ideas come easy, and sometimes we sit there staring at the screen for hours. That’s just the nature of design work. Being near the bus stop means there is always a lot of movement outside. We get a mix of different people stopping by. It’s not a fancy studio. It’s just a place where we do our work. We use a lot of different tools and software, and the office usually smells like fresh coffee. We aren't really into big presentations or marketing ourselves. We just do the work and let people see what we’ve done. It can be a bit stressful when we have a lot of projects going at once, but we manage. We’ve been in Banjara Hills for a good bit now and have seen the area change. Our space is filled with samples and drawings. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We just try to make things that look okay and work like they should. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We also spend time arguing about color palettes and which font looks less annoying on a sign. It keeps the day interesting for everyone in the room.
