Skanda Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. operates out of No. 18 in the I Labs Centre, Building No. 3, over in Madhapur. It’s a tech-heavy part of town, and we fit right into the middle of it. We deal with parts and components that go into planes and other flight systems. It is very precise work. You can’t really afford to be sloppy when you are making things that fly. Our office and workspace are set up for engineering, so there are always diagrams and metal pieces sitting on the benches. We aren’t a huge corporation with thousands of employees; we are a focused team that knows our specs. People think aerospace is all about glamour, but for us, it is about checking measurements three times and making sure the material is right. The building in Madhapur is modern, which helps with the equipment we need to run. We don't spend much time on marketing or trying to look flashy. Most of our work comes from people who know we can handle the technical requirements. It is a lot of sitting at computers and then going over to the machines to see if the physical part matches the drawing. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the I Labs Centre. It’s a busy place, but once you’re inside our doors, it is all about the work at hand and getting the engineering right.
