Sivananda Electronics

Sivananda Electronics is located inside Jamuna Mansion, up at room 310. Chirag Ali Lane in Abids is a busy spot, and the building itself has been around for quite a while. You have to walk through the main entrance and find the stairs or the lift to get up to us. Our space is mostly filled with workbenches and shelves full of components. It smells a bit like solder and old paper most of the time. We aren't really set up for walk-in shoppers looking for fancy displays. Instead, we have stacks of parts and testing equipment everywhere. Usually, there are three or four of us hunched over a circuit board or writing down notes in a ledger. We still use paper for a lot of things because it's easier to grab a pen than to open a laptop sometimes. The windows look out over the lane, and you can hear the street vendors and the traffic down below. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We don't really do much marketing. Most people find us because they know someone who came here before. It's a quiet kind of place where we just focus on the electronics. We don't worry much about having the latest furniture. As long as the lights work and the tools are sharp, we are happy enough. It is just us doing what we know.
