About Shri Krishna Plastics – Metals & Minerals in Hyderabad
If you ever go to Siddiamberbazar, you know how tight the streets are. Shri Krishna Plastics is at 15-6-598. It’s a narrow building filled with all sorts of plastic things. Hyderabad is always hot, and the market area is even hotter. We have bags and containers piled up in every corner. Sometimes it’s hard to move around without bumping into a stack of buckets. Customers come in and out all day asking for prices. We don't have a computer system that does everything; we mostly use a calculator and a bill book. The noise from the street is constant. You hear the horns and the shouting from the other vendors. We spend a lot of time moving stock around to make room for new deliveries. The floor is always a bit dusty because of the wind blowing through the bazaar. We stay open late because that’s when the market is most alive. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying. My back hurts by the end of the week. There’s no fancy air conditioning here, just a couple of wall fans that move the warm air around. We know most of the other shop owners on this block. We’ve been at 15-6-598 for years. It’s a cramped space but it works for us. We just keep selling and stacking. Hyderabad is a busy city and Siddiamberbazar is right in the middle of the chaos. We wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if it were quiet.
