Shiva Shakthi Industries

Over here in Cherlapally, specifically at Phase 11, things move at a certain pace. Shiva Shakthi Industries is tucked away at Plot No 124/02. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a bit of noise from the nearby units. We’ve been running this place for a while. Our floor is concrete and usually covered in some kind of machine oil or metal shavings. We handle a lot of different orders. Some days it’s quiet and we just maintain the machines. Other days it’s a rush to get things loaded onto the trucks. It gets hot in the afternoons under the tin roof. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. It isn't a place for suits or ties. Most of us wear old clothes that we don't mind getting stained. We have some regulars who have been coming to us since we opened. We don’t do much advertising. People just find us or hear about us from someone else in the area. The gates stay open during the day. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, and we just sit outside until it comes back on. It’s just how it is working in an industrial zone. We keep track of everything in old ledgers and notebooks. It’s simple, honest work. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
