You can find us at Shop 2 in the Sree Sai Krupa Apartments over in S.R.K. Puram. It’s a handy spot for a clinic because so many people live right here in the building or just down the street in Saroor Nagar. We focus a lot on diabetic care at Shiva Diabetic Care and Poly Clinic, but we see people for all kinds of general health issues too. It’s a small space, as most apartment shops are, but we’ve made it work for us. There is usually someone sitting on the bench outside waiting for their turn. We spend a lot of time talking to patients about their sugar levels and checking their vitals. It’s not fancy work, but it’s necessary for the folks around here. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice for a clinic. Sometimes we get a bit backed up with paperwork, and the desk gets cluttered with folders and forms. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open the doors in the morning and wait for the regulars to come in. Most of our patients have been coming to see us for years, so we know their histories pretty well. It’s about being a local resource where someone can walk in and get their health checked without a lot of fuss. We just try to be helpful and keep things running as smoothly as possible. It’s a living for us and we enjoy the people.
