Shifa Clinic

Our Shifa Clinic is tucked into the Nagarjuna Nagar Colony, which is right in the Yellareddyguda part of Ameerpet. If you know Begumpet, you know how busy this whole area gets. The clinic is at 8-3-234/88, and it can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking closely at the house numbers. The colony is a mix of houses and small businesses, so there is always something going on outside. The space we have is quite compact. We have to be organized with our files and supplies because there isn't much extra room to spare. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and sometimes I find myself watching the delivery drivers go by when it is quiet. Ameerpet is a place where everyone is in a hurry, so people often come in looking to get things done quickly so they can get back to their jobs or classes. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day long to keep the air moving, as it gets quite stuffy in this part of the city. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few necessary signs. It is a hardworking little clinic in a very busy neighborhood. We see a lot of different people every day, from students to office workers, and they all just want a bit of help without any fuss or long speeches.
