Sonu Hardware

We are over at Old Topkhana in Shankar Bagh. The shop is at 5-3-616. It's packed with a lot of stuff, from nails to bigger tools and plumbing items. If you walk in, you might have to step over some pipes or boxes. We don't have everything perfectly organized, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a bit dusty because of all the metal and cement bags we move around. We’ve been here at this spot for a good while. My father started it and now we just keep it going. People come in looking for a specific screw or a tap that stopped working. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what they’re fixing at home. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights. It’s just a regular hardware store. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road for a minute while we unload the new stock. We try to be quick about it so the neighbors don't get annoyed. We have all kinds of things hanging from the ceiling and tucked into corners. It’s a lot of work keeping track of the inventory. Sometimes we lose a pen or a notebook under a pile of bills. That’s just life in a shop like this. We stay open until late evening usually. It gets busy after people get off work and realize they need something for a repair. We just help them find the right tool.
