Horizon Bio Fuel

Our operation is based out of Plot No 168/1 in Thumukunta, over in the Shameerpet area. We work with bio fuel, which means there’s a lot of raw organic material around the site. It’s a bit out of the main city, which is good because we need the space for the processing. The air out here is a little better than in the industrial hubs. We have some large equipment that we use to break down the materials. It breaks down sometimes, and then we are all out there with wrenches trying to get it started again. It’s messy work and you definitely don't want to wear your nice clothes here. We started this because we saw a need for different fuel types in the local area. There are about five of us who handle the day-to-day stuff. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard. Sometimes the smell from the materials is a bit strong, but you get used to it after a few minutes. We don't have a fancy office, just a small cabin with a table and a few chairs. It’s where we sit to eat our lunch and talk about the schedule. We aren't trying to be a huge company, just a local source for fuel. It’s hard work but it feels right to be doing it. We usually finish up when the sun starts to go down and the trucks are all gone.
