Seiko Polyclosures

Seiko Polyclosures is over at Plot No 11/8/A in Ida Nacharam. We spend most of our days dealing with machines and making sure things run right. Uppal is a busy place, and being here in Hyderabad means there is always noise around us. We started small, just a few people trying to get work done, and that hasn't changed much even though we have been here a while. The morning starts with the guards opening the gate and the staff arriving on their scooters. It gets hot inside the shed, especially during the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay focused on the plastic work. People often ask what we do, and it is mostly just making closures for different containers. We have these big machines that take up most of the floor space. There is always a layer of dust from the road outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces before we start. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We have a small desk where the bills get sorted and a few chairs for when visitors come by. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We know our neighbors in the other plots, and sometimes we borrow tools from each other. It's a simple way of working, really. We just take it one day at a time here. Every day has its own challenges.
