Schomburg

Our office is inside Flat No 9 at the SRS Apartments in Gokul Nagar. It is right in the middle of the Tarnaka area in Secunderabad. Since we are based in an apartment building, the place feels more like a home than a regular corporate office. We have a few desks set up in the main living room and some product samples on the shelves. Working out of an apartment is actually nice because it stays quiet and we have a small kitchen to make our own tea and coffee. The elevator in this building is a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs to get to the flat. Most of our work involves talking to people on the phone and coordinating delivery schedules. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors are all used to us being here. Tarnaka is a very busy part of the city, but our specific street is tucked away enough to be peaceful. We do not have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and a clock that makes a loud ticking sound. Sometimes the delivery guys get a bit lost looking for the right flat number, so one of us has to go down to the gate to show them the way. It is a small team here, just three of us on most days. We spend the day looking over papers and checking on orders. It is a steady routine.
