Sangeetha Mobiles

Our shop is at 6-3-866/A in Mayawak Plaza. Ameerpet is one of those places that never really stops moving. We are right opposite the Green Park Hotel, which is a good landmark for people who are trying to find us for the first time. Sangeetha Mobiles is a busy spot. We have phones lined up in the glass cases and we spend a lot of time wiping fingerprints off the screens. It feels like as soon as we clean one, someone else comes in to try it out. The noise from the main road is constant, with all the buses and bikes honking. Inside the shop, we try to keep things a bit more organized, though the back room is usually full of empty cardboard boxes and chargers. We have a small stool behind the counter where we take turns sitting down when the floor gets tiring. It isn't a huge place, so it can feel a bit crowded when a family comes in to look at a new device. We talk to all sorts of people every day, from students to retirees. Everyone wants to know about battery life or the camera. We just tell them what we know based on what we see every day. It’s a simple business, really. We open up, talk to people, sell some phones, and close the shutters at night.
