Snj Synthetics Ltd.

Our factory is at 149A in the Sri Venkateshwara Co-Operative Industrial Estate. Snj Synthetics Ltd. is right near the Apgvb Bank in the Ida Bollaram area. It’s a big industrial zone, so there are trucks and machinery sounds all day long. We work with synthetic materials. Inside, it’s quite large with high ceilings to keep the air moving, though it still gets pretty hot when the machines are at full speed. There’s a lot of raw material coming in and finished goods going out. We have a small office tucked into the corner of the building where we handle the paperwork and the bills. The floor is concrete and there’s usually a bit of dust, which is hard to avoid in this line of work. We aren't big on decorations. Most of the walls just have safety signs or calendars on them. The workers here are mostly from the local area. We know our machines well and we know how to fix them when they act up. It’s a busy place and we don’t have much time for sitting around. We take our lunch breaks together in the shade when we can. It’s a simple industrial setup. We make the synthetics, we load them up, and we move on to the next batch. That’s the daily routine here in Bollaram for all of us.
