Sandvik Asia Limited has a spot here in Hyderabad, specifically in the Kukatpally area. We are located at 401 Mahitha Apartments in Bagyanagar Colony. It’s a residential area, so it doesn't feel like those cold, empty office parks you see in Hi-Tech City. Living and working out of an apartment building like Mahitha means we see our neighbors every day in the elevator. The office itself is just a regular flat that we’ve converted into a workspace. We have desks in what would be the living room and files stacked in the cabinets. Hyderabad traffic can be a real pain, especially around Kukatpally, so we are glad we don't have to commute too far. Most of the day is spent on the computer or talking to people over the phone. We don't have any big signs out front, just the number on the door. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of paperwork to go through, but it works for us. We often order lunch from the small places nearby in Bagyanagar Colony. It’s a practical setup for the kind of coordinating work we do. We don't try to impress anyone with a big lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you just ring the bell and one of us will let you in. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of office life here in the 500072 area.
