Samezee Photography

Being on the 9th floor of Paigah Plaza in Basheer Bagh gives us a nice view of the city, even if we’re mostly looking at the back of Balaji Market across the street. Samezee Photography has been here for a bit now. It’s a busy spot in Hyderabad. People come up the elevator all day for different things. Sometimes they need a quick photo for something official, and other times they want something nicer to hang on a wall. We don’t really have a big fancy office with a receptionist. It’s just a workspace where we keep our lights and backdrops. We spend a lot of time editing on our computers when we aren't out at events. Basheer Bagh is always loud, but up here on the 9th floor, it’s actually quite quiet. We try to be straightforward with everyone who walks through the door. If a photo looks bad, we say so and try again. It’s not about being perfect every single second, but about getting a result that looks like a real person. We use Plot No 904/A as our base, and from here we go all over the city. It’s a lot of carrying heavy bags and waiting for the right moment to click. We aren’t a big company, just a small team trying to make a living doing something we actually enjoy. It's hard work but mostly it's just normal life for us. People seem to like the way we do things.
