Sai Laxmi Clinic

If you know the Ramnagar X Roads area, you’ve probably seen us right next to the Andhra Bank ATM. It’s a very busy corner of Hyderabad, and we get people popping in all day long. Some people come in because they saw the sign while getting cash, and others have been coming to us for years. The clinic isn't very big, but it serves the purpose for the local community. We deal with basic health issues and general checkups mostly. It’s often quite loud outside with all the traffic and people moving around the crossroads, but we try to keep it calm once you step inside. We don’t have a fancy reception or a huge waiting lounge, just some chairs and a desk where we keep the records. The staff knows most of the regular patients by name since they live just a few streets away. We open up in the morning and stay until the last patient is seen in the evening. There are plenty of tea stalls and shops around us, so it’s a very active part of town to work in. We don’t use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned notebooks and a simple way of managing the queue. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets flooded during the rains, but we stay open as much as we can. It’s just a regular clinic for regular people living in this part of Hyderabad.
