Our office is right on the main road in the Vivekanandanagar Colony area over in Kukatpalli. If you know Hyderabad at all, you already know how crowded and busy this part of the city gets. Being at Plot No. 277 means we see thousands of cars and bikes passing by our front door every single day. It is a noisy part of town but it is very convenient for getting our supplies delivered on time. We deal with thermit materials, mostly things for tracks and welding work. It is technical stuff and the workshop can get pretty messy when we are busy. The staff here is small and most of us have known each other for a long time. We usually have our lunch together in the back room where it is a bit quieter. The heat in Hyderabad during the summer makes the warehouse area really tough to stay in for long, so we use a few old fans to keep the air moving. We do not really do any advertising because most people just find us through word of mouth or see the sign while they are stuck in traffic. The paperwork usually piles up on the desks and sometimes it feels like we are losing the battle against the files. We have been in this specific spot for a while and the neighborhood has changed so much. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily orders.
