About Safet Officer – Metals & Minerals in Hyderabad/ Secunderabad
This is Sudharshan Reddy’s place over at H.No: 67/B Migh in the Masab Tank area. We are right there in Vijayanagar Colony. It’s an old part of Hyderabad, and it has its own character. Most of the time, I am out of the office checking on things at different sites. Being a safety officer means you spend a lot of time looking at ladders, scaffolding, and fire extinguishers. It’s not about sitting in a fancy chair. I carry a notebook and a helmet around most of the day. The sun in Hyderabad can be pretty brutal when you're standing on a construction site. Back at the house, I keep all the files and the reports. It’s a simple setup in a residential neighborhood. People around here know me, and they see me coming and going at odd hours. Sometimes I have to explain things twice because people are in a rush. I don’t mind. It’s better to be sure about things than to have a problem later on. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. It’s home. The roads are a bit narrow, and parking is always a headache, but we make it work. I just keep an eye on things and make sure everyone follows the basic rules. It’s not complicated, just requires a bit of attention and a lot of walking around. It keeps me active and stays honest to the task.
