Safe Fire Institute

Safe Fire Institute is tucked away in Edi Bazar. It’s a lively neighborhood with plenty of people moving around all day. We spend most of our time teaching folks about fire safety and how to handle emergencies. It’s pretty basic stuff but very important. The classrooms aren't nothing special, just chairs and boards where we go over the rules. We get all sorts of students coming through. Some are young and looking for a job, others have been working for years and just need to learn something new. We don’t have a big shiny campus or anything like that. It’s just a place where people can come and learn. We keep the doors open and the lights on. Edi Bazar is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else. It can get noisy outside with the shops and the bikes, but we manage. We try to keep the lessons simple so everyone understands. There’s no need to make things complicated when you're talking about safety. We’ve been here for a bit and we plan on staying. It’s just regular work for us, helping people get their certificates and move on with their careers. If you walk down the main street, you’ll find us easily enough. We’re usually busy with a class or sorting out some manuals. It’s a decent place to spend the day.
