Safco Smart Aluminium Fabrication

We’ve been here at Lakdika Pool for some time now. Safco Smart Aluminium Fabrication is just a small place where we deal with frames and glass. The shop stays busy most days. You can hear the saws cutting metal from the street. It’s not a big fancy office. There’s dust on the floor and scraps of aluminium in the corner. We usually start early in the morning. People come in asking for window frames or shop fronts. Sometimes they bring drawings on bits of paper. We just look at what they need and tell them if we can do it. It’s practical work. My hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. The traffic outside is loud. We have a few tools that have seen better days but they still work fine. Usually, it's just a few of us here. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on a website. We just focus on the measurements. If a door doesn't fit right, we fix it. That's how it goes. Sometimes a job takes longer because the glass delivery is late. We just wait and get on with the next thing. It’s a normal workshop life. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years. But we stay here at the same spot. It’s what we know how to do.
