Safa Opticals & Eye Clinic

We have been running Safa Opticals & Eye Clinic here in Langar House for a while now. Most people know us because we are right opposite the Pratap Theater, next to where the SBH used to be on the main road. It is a busy spot, but we try to keep things simple for anyone walking in. We do eye checkups and have a decent selection of glasses on the shelves. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded in the evenings when the main road is packed with traffic. We just take one person at a time and see what kind of frames they need or if their vision has changed. Dealing with eyes is serious work, but we talk to our neighbors like regular people. It is not a fancy place with bright lights and loud music. It is just a shop where you can get your eyes tested and find some spectacles that don’t cost too much. We see a lot of the same faces from around Langar House coming back over the years. My desk is usually covered in papers and frame cases, and we might take a minute to find exactly what you're looking for, but we get it done. If you are near the theater and need a quick check or just lost your nose pads, you can just stop by. We usually keep the doors open through the afternoon heat. It is just us here, working every day to make sure people can see clearly when they leave.
