Sadhuram Eye Hospital

We are right there on Gagan Mahal Road, basically opposite the Andhra Bank. If you find the bank, you’ve found us at Plot No 1-2-8. The area is called Domalguda, and it gets quite a bit of foot traffic. Our building is easy to spot once you get to the intersection. Inside, it’s mostly about eyes. We have those charts on the wall with the letters that get smaller as you go down. The testing rooms are dark, which is a nice break from the bright sun outside. People come in squinting and hopefully leave feeling a bit better. The reception desk is a bit high, so short people have to stand on their toes sometimes to talk to the girl there. We keep a stack of old magazines on the table, though most people just look at their phones while waiting. The parking out front is a bit of a mess because Gagan Mahal Road is narrow. We usually tell people to come by rickshaw if they can. The staff wears white coats that sometimes have a stray thread or two. It’s not a fancy private hospital, just a place where we check your vision and try to fix what’s blurry. The hallway has a slight echo when it’s empty, but it’s rarely empty during the day. We’ve been in this part of Himayath Nagar for a while now and everyone knows the spot.
