The shop is at Shop No 3-4-675 in Narayanguda. We are right at the Narayanaguda X Roads, which is always a mess of traffic. Being beside the vegetable market means it is very noisy from early morning with all the vendors. We do a mix of things here. One side of the shop is full of electrical spares like switches and wires. The other side has the sound equipment we rent out for local events. I spend a lot of my time soldering things or testing light bulbs at the counter. It’s a practical business. We get a lot of walk-ins from people who live nearby and need a quick fix for their home wiring. Then there are the bigger jobs where we take the sound system to a hall. Carrying the heavy speakers past the vegetable carts is the hardest part of the day. The shop floor is usually covered in bits of wire and tape. My hands are always a bit dirty from the grease and dust. We don't use any big marketing tricks. People just know us because we’ve been at this crossroad for so many years. It’s a small space, so we have to stack the amplifiers quite high. You have to be careful when you walk in so you don't trip over a cable. We have a small wooden bench where customers sit while we check their items. It’s just how we run things here in this part of Hyderabad. It is always busy.
