Kaveri Seed Company Ltd.

Our place is up on the 5th floor of the Minerva Complex, specifically in unit 513 B. Since we are so high up, we have to rely on the elevators, which can be a bit of a wait during the morning rush. Once you get inside Kaveri Seed Company Ltd., you’ll see that it is a working office through and through. We have samples of different seeds in jars on some of the shelves, and there is always some paperwork about shipments or stock levels sitting on the desks. It isn't a showroom; it is where the actual work happens. The 5th-floor view is mostly of other rooftops and the busy street below. We keep the windows shut to keep the dust out, but you can still hear the city hum. There are a few of us here, and we mostly keep to ourselves, focusing on whatever orders need to be processed. The air conditioning is usually running because it gets quite warm in this building. We have a small pantry where we make tea and keep our lunch boxes. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters with marble floors. It’s just a regular office space with grey tiles and fluorescent lights. We spend a lot of time checking the details on our lists and talking to the people who handle the logistics. It is a lot of routine, but we are used to it by now.
