Rudra Wildlife Foundation

Our office is at Flat No 302, in the F 6 Block of Casa Rouge. If you know Jubilee Gardens in Kondapur, you know where we are. Rudra Wildlife Foundation is what we call ourselves. It’s not a huge organization. We just care about animals and the environment and wanted to do something about it. Most of our time is spent out in the field or planning things from this small apartment space. It’s a lot of coordination work. We look at ways to help local wildlife and deal with the issues that come up when cities grow too fast. Hyderabad has changed a lot, and Kondapur used to be much quieter. Now it's all buildings. We use the flat to keep our records and meet up to discuss what needs doing next. It’s not some big corporate headquarters. It’s more of a home base for people who actually care. Sometimes we get calls about injured birds or stray animals, and we do what we can. Money is always a bit tight, but we manage to keep things going. We don’t have fancy brochures. Just some passionate people trying to make a small difference where they live. The neighbors in Casa Rouge are used to us by now. It’s hard work, and sometimes it’s frustrating when things don’t go as planned, but we keep showing up anyway because the work needs to be done.
