Our forge is located at 7-1-276/1/B/14 in Suprabhat Nagar. It is tucked away in the Balkampet area. If you come by, you will hear the hammers before you see the sign. Forging is loud and hot work, and our place reflects that. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. The shop floor is always covered in a bit of dust and grit, which is just part of the trade. We have the furnaces running most of the day, so it stays warm even when it is raining outside. There is a small group of us who handle the metalwork. We do not have any fancy titles; we just do what needs to be done to get the parts finished. We keep the paperwork in a small cabinet in the corner, but most of the important stuff happens near the heat. It is a physical job and we are usually pretty tired by the time we head home. We do not do anything flashy or spend time on social media. We just make the parts that our customers ask for. Sometimes the deliveries are late or a machine needs a new belt, but we just deal with it as it happens. It is an honest way to spend the day. We are just a local forge doing our best to keep things moving for the people who rely on us. It is not always easy, but we have been doing it this way for a long time and we do not plan on changing much.
