Rocky Imports Exports

Rocky Imports Exports is located near the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Prasanthi. If you know the temple, we are pretty easy to find. Our building is D. No. 5 5 35/137. We spend our days dealing with a lot of moving parts because importing and exporting involves a ton of different rules and people. It’s not always the most exciting work, mostly checking lists and making sure the boxes are packed right. We deal with all sorts of items, whatever is being moved through the area at the time. Being near the temple means there is usually a lot of activity outside, which is nice. Our office is just a plain room with a few computers and a lot of files stacked up on the corners of desks. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We’ve learned that things usually take longer than you think they will, so we’ve gotten good at being patient with the shipping companies. Sometimes we are here early to talk to people in other countries, and other times we stay late to finish the manifest. It’s just a way to make a living, really. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just try to make sure each shipment gets to where it’s supposed to go without getting stuck somewhere. It’s a small, honest business and we like it that way.
