We've been here on R P Road for a long time now. If you know the Bata bus stop, you know exactly where we are, right across from the mosque. It’s usually busy out front with people catching the bus or just walking by. We open the shutters early most mornings, and the first thing is usually getting the dust off the counters before the sun gets too high. It’s a bit of a routine by now. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets loud, especially in the afternoons when everyone is trying to get home, but we’re used to it. We mostly just keep to ourselves and handle whatever comes through the door. Usually, it's just one or two of us behind the desk, talking to neighbors or sorting through some paperwork that’s been sitting there since Tuesday. We don't really have a big staff or anything like that. Just a few people who have known each other for years. It’s okay here. The location is good because people can find us easily enough without needing a map. Just tell them we’re near the Bata stop and they get it. Some days are slower than others, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We just try to get things done and then go home to our families when the day is over. Nothing too fancy about it. It’s just how we run things, and it seems to work for everyone.
