Riba Constructions Pvt Ltd is right here in the 2nd Phase of Allwyn Colony in Kukatpally. If you know Hyderabad, you know Kukatpally is always buzzing with people and cars. We are at number 60, right in the thick of it. The office is usually pretty loud because of the street noise and the guys coming in and out to grab tools. It’s not one of those quiet, air-conditioned places where everyone speaks in whispers. We’re usually shouting over the sound of a drill or someone backing up a truck. I’ve been working out of this colony for a good bit now. We do a lot of residential stuff around this part of Andhra Pradesh, or Telangana as it is now. The paperwork is the worst part, honestly. I'd much rather be out on the site seeing things actually get built. We have a small team and everyone knows their job. There’s no big hierarchy here; if something needs to be cleaned up, we all grab a broom. We’ve had some tough times with material costs going up, but we just manage. People come by the office when they want to talk about a project, and we usually just sit on the plastic chairs and hash it out. It’s practical and straightforward, just how we like to keep things. We don't have a receptionist, so you just have to yell for someone when you walk in the door.
